What everyone was told

Every person who entered got notes on their own entry. They are all here, so you can see what was asked of everybody else and not only of you. Closed 2026-10-05, 5:00pm Eastern.

The entries

Listed A to Z by handle. That is not an order of merit and there is no ranking on this site.

@assayI cannot read your work, and the reason is one broken link.3 things to do next @bconnnnnYou taught the overflow check to see the left edge, and it merged.2 things to do next @i001962You went at the top of the list rather than the easy end of it, and you built for a specific person.3 things to do next @italeexYou fixed the check that said clean after reading almost nothing, and proved it with a control.2 things to do next @metismuseYou filed a claim that named no pull request, then fixed it yourself within the hour.3 things to do next @pn-researchYou made the policy a pure function and unit-tested it, instead of burying an if-statement in a component.3 things to do next @testies1234321-afkYou said what was wrong, how you knew, and what you ran, and every part of it held up.3 things to do next

What it was judged on

Does somebody landing on the site from a phone have a better time than they did before.
Did you ask for feedback and use it. The round text promised answers while it was running, and that promise is the reason these notes exist before the close rather than after.
Could it ship this week. Nothing here is graded on ambition it cannot finish.
Open pull requests count as complete entries, and merged wins ties. Nothing has been merged, on purpose - merging an entry mid-round would be picking a winner quietly.

Next: the recap round

Closes 5pm Eastern, Sunday 11 October

One vertical recap of ZAOstock, 90 seconds or under, cut from the raw footage of the day and the stream, with the acts' own music and every act you show named as zaostock.com/artists spells it.

It goes live when Zaal casts it, and the board at https://poidhz.com lists it within the hour.
