Make one piece of media for ZAOstock

Pot $11.89 - 8 entries

Make one piece of media for ZAOstock using the brand kit. Post it publicly, claim the live link here. Closes 5pm Eastern Tuesday September 22. I name my pick live on Twitch around 5pm, right as it closes, with the entries on screen, and the people who funded the pot confirm it in a two-day vote. WHAT I WANT MOST TODAY: VIDEO WITH AUDIO. Day one gave us strong posters and one moving piece, and the moving piece landed an hour late. The kit now has a 30-second ZAOstock spot and a radio interview you can cut under anything, so you do not have to record a note. A still gets scrolled past. Fifteen seconds that moves, with sound, is the piece we would run. Same ask as yesterday. Six people entered, two of them after the close. If you were one of the two, or you ran out of time, this is your round: the same piece counts here. ZAOstock is a free music festival on Saturday October 3, 2026, in Ellsworth, Maine. Franklin Street closes to traffic and eight independent acts play back to back on the parklet stage from noon to six. Free, all ages, rain or shine. Everything you need is at https://zaostock.com - read it before you make anything. 11 days out. WHY THIS EXISTS. A free festival on one street in a small city lives or dies on whether anyone hears about it, and we would rather pay people who are good at that than shout louder ourselves. THE BAR. Requirements, not preferences. Miss one and it is not entered. 1. Post it publicly and claim the live URL on this page. Not claimed here, not entered. 2. Put the three facts on the piece where a reader sees them without clicking: ZAOstock, Saturday October 3, Ellsworth Maine. 3. Use the real kit. The moose, the wordmark, the type and the colours are at https://zaostock.com/brand. A redrawn or regenerated version of our mark is off-brand even when it looks good, because it is not the mark we use everywhere else. 4. No invented people. No made-up faces, no made-up bands. These are real artists playing a real show, and a picture of someone who is not them is the one thing we cannot run. 5. If there is speech, caption it. If there is music under speech, one clear instrumental that does not compete. Library music over dialog fails. 6. Tag @bettercallzaal on X and cross-post in the /poidh channel on Farcaster. Generate whatever you like to get there. We are not against the tools. Finish it with our real assets and real details so it holds up as ours. WHAT DAY ONE TAUGHT US. The entries that scored highest all did three things: every fact a person needs was on the piece, it was built on the real kit, and it was submitted as the actual file rather than a screenshot of a post. The best-looking entry of the day had no date and no place on it, and that is the whole difference between striking and usable. The test: tape it in a shop window on Franklin Street, and does someone in Ellsworth know where to be on October 3? WHAT EARNS WEIGHT. More of these, more weight. 1. It went where people who could attend will see it: Ellsworth, Bangor, Downeast, Maine groups. A physical placement photographed as proof beats a post nobody saw. 2. Someone who is not in this bounty shared it. 3. Looks finished. Vertical or square for mobile. Spelling right, the eight names right. 4. Specific about the day, names an act from the lineup, and honest about what it is: small, free, outdoors, one street. THE KIT. Use any of it for your entry. The moose mark is by attabotty; credit on the piece is asked for. Keep the ZAOstock name visible. 1. Everything in one download: https://zaostock.com/brand/zaostock-brand-kit.zip 2. The brand page, each file separately: https://zaostock.com/brand 3. The moose, primary mark: https://zaostock.com/brand/logos/zaostock26_moose.png 4. Poster reference: https://zaostock.com/brand/posters/moose-cracked-cement-red-1024.png 5. The lineup, all eight acts: https://zaostock.com/artists 6. AUDIO, the 30-second ZAOstock spot: https://zaostock.com/brand/audio/zaostock-commercial-30s.mp3 7. AUDIO, the radio interview, 7 minutes, pull any line: https://zaostock.com/brand/audio/zaostock-radio-interview-2026-09-10.mp3 8. VIDEO, the logo draw animation, a ready-made opener or closer: https://zaostock.com/brand/video/logo-draw-animation.mp4 THE REWARD. Winner takes the whole pot. This is an OPEN bounty: the pot is whatever this page says right now and it grows as others contribute. Read the number at the top of the page, not a number in this text. Every submitter also earns $ZABAL through the POIDH Submitters leaderboard on Empire Builder, scaled by how many BCZ rounds you have entered: https://www.empirebuilder.world/empire/0xbb48f19b0494ff7c1fe5dc2032aeee14312f0b07 This bounty promises the pot and nothing else. We might run the best entries on ZAOstock's channels and we would like to, but it is not written here as a commitment. This programme has a record of making publication promises it did not keep, and you can read that record at https://poidhz.com/about HOW THE WINNER IS PICKED. Live on Twitch around 5pm Eastern, right as it closes, entries on screen. COME AND ARGUE FOR YOUR OWN. That is why the pick happens at the close instead of quietly afterwards. Then everyone who added to the pot has two days to vote on the pick before it pays out. The people who paid for it get a say. Discord: https://discord.thezao.com One bounty a day until ZAOstock itself. Same shape every day: opens, closes at 5pm Eastern, pick named live on Twitch around then, confirmed by the people who funded it. Submissions close 5:00pm Eastern, Tuesday September 22, 2026. ZAOstock is Saturday October 3. Promo that lands after it is worth nothing, which is why these close fast. The festival: https://zaostock.com

ZAOstock lineup in Zaal's own words: 31 s, Saturday October 3, Ellsworth Maine

https://files.catbox.moe/2ypwkq.mp4
Notes: You used the one thing in the kit nobody else opened.

You took the Star 97 radio interview out of the asset kit and cut it to nine passages, captioned word by word, with the eight acts in running order and a rail showing 01 through 08. A bar across the bottom of every single frame carries Saturday October 3, Ellsworth Maine, Franklin Street Parklet, free, all ages, rain or shine - so a screenshot of any frame still sells the show. attabotty and Star 97 are both credited in the footer. And when your first claim's host went offline mid-round you noticed it yourself and re-filed twice, without being asked to.

Host it where you control how long it lives. Claim 8100 pointed at a host that went dark and both URLs returned nothing, which made finished work unjudgeable until you re-filed. The catbox links on your later claims are still serving the files today. A piece that cannot be opened scores the same as a piece that was never made.

The voice is the asset. Use more of it and cover less ground.. Thirty-one seconds spread across nine passages gives every act a moment and gives none of them a hook. Fifteen seconds of a real person talking about his own festival would travel further than a full tour of the lineup. You already have the material to cut both versions out of one interview.

Created a promotional video for ZAOstock

https://x.com/pascaline7933/status/2102483061955014871
Notes: You went and filmed something. Almost nobody does.

You cast it, shot it on a real Ellsworth street, put a ZAOstock hoodie on camera and captioned the whole thing. Fifty-five seconds with two people and a script is a production, not a post, and it is the hardest thing anyone attempted this round.

Put the facts on the screen, not only in the dialogue. The day and the street arrive through what the actors say. Someone watching with the sound off, or joining halfway, gets neither. A small bar that stays on every frame - Franklin Street Parklet, noon to six, free, all ages - costs you nothing and means any moment of it can be screenshotted and still work.

Shoot it tall. This is 1280 by 720, landscape. It will be watched in a vertical feed, where landscape means the picture occupies a third of the screen and the captions get small. Shooting the same scene vertically costs nothing at the time and cannot be fixed afterwards.

ZAOSTOCK

https://x.com/i/status/2102419610402214274
Notes: You filed the artwork itself, and it is built on the real kit.

Vertical, the real moose mark, the kit's type and colours, and you credited attabotty in your claim without being asked. Your claim text also carries the whole fact set - eight acts, Saturday October 3 2026, Franklin Street Parklet, Ellsworth Maine, free to attend.

The two facts that decide whether someone comes are not on the piece. The artwork says ZAOstock returns to Ellsworth, Maine, Saturday, October 3, 2026. It does not say FREE and it does not say Franklin Street Parklet. Both are sitting in your claim text, where a repost will not carry them. A reader knows the day and the town and still does not know it costs nothing or where to stand.

There is a text cursor still in the export. A thin blinking bar sits right after 2026, left over from the editor. Also worth a look: Ellsworth is capitalised and maine on the next line is not. Both are one export away and both are the kind of thing a client notices before they notice the design.

ZAOSTOCK

https://x.com/0xcryt29/status/2102367081295405536
Notes: Your post copy was complete and you fixed the flaw before anyone asked you to.

The caption carried everything a reader needed and you tagged correctly on both platforms. Then you heard that the editor watermark was a problem, removed it, and re-posted the clean version the same day without being asked. That is the part of this that is hardest to teach.

Export without the editor's mark. The CapCut corner stamp was burned into the frame. It puts somebody else's brand on our festival in every repost, and on a free tier it is usually one export setting or a few seconds of trim away.

Upload a frame of the piece rather than a picture of the post. poidh only takes images, so a still is the right thing to upload for a video - but the still it received was a photo of your X post, complete with the view count and the reply box. A frame from the video itself shows the work. The link in your description is what gets watched either way.

https://farcaster.xyz/barsam/0x0986bfb0
Notes: Your writing carries the whole day. It is just in the wrong place.

You cross-posted to both platforms without being asked. The caption carries the whole day - Franklin Street Parklet from noon to 6 PM, then Black Moon Public House till 10 PM - and tags both @zaofestivals and @bettercallzaal. Every fact in it checks out against what the festival publishes.

Everything you wrote lives in the caption, and a repost strips the caption. Put the day, the street and the word free into the frame itself. The piece then works when somebody screenshots it, saves it, or shares it somewhere your words do not follow. Your caption proves you already know exactly which facts matter.

What arrived here is a picture of a post quoting another post. Your video is a thumbnail inside a quoted post inside a screenshot - three layers from the work. poidh only accepts images, so uploading a still for a video is right; make that still a frame from the video. Right now the page shows your post rather than your piece.

ZAOstock — Free Music Festival

Notes: Your type is readable from across a street, which is the hard part.

Big, confident, high-contrast typesetting carrying ZAOstock, Saturday October 3, Ellsworth Maine, Free Music Festival, Noon to 6 PM. Somebody could act on this from a distance and without stopping, which is what a promo has to do.

That logo belongs to a different brand. The pixel Z arcade mark is ZABAL Gamez, which is a separate thing from ZAOstock. The ZAOstock mark is the moose, and it is in the asset kit as a transparent PNG. Right now the piece advertises the wrong name in the one place a reader looks first.

There is a tool's stamp across the middle of it. Music Festival Event sits in pink and blue over your headline, dropped in by whatever made it. It covers your own type at the exact point the eye lands.

Upload a frame, not a photo of your gallery. What arrived carries the phone's status bar, the battery at 19 percent, and the Share, Favorite, Edit, Delete row along the bottom. poidh only takes images, so a still is correct for a video - export one frame from the piece instead, and the page shows your work rather than your phone.
